    AcuMedical ( was formed with the purpose of designing, developing, and promoting a minimally-invasive, integrated suite of medical devices that help patients and healthcare professionals effectively manage a variety of chronic or acute pain conditions through electro-stimulation.

    We will open a new acupuncture clinic located near North Oaks in North St Paul. The clinic is in walking distance to a variety of business and close to large residential areas, including senior living. We are looking for a licensed acupuncturist to serve and oversee the clinic. He/she will consult with patients and provide acupuncture (or related) therapy to treat a specific illness or condition or help clients achieve balance and wellness in their lives.  Our acupuncturist must be compassionate, motivated, and able to be independent and take care daily clinic management duties.


    • Deliver integrative health care to individual patients using acupuncture and related techniques.

    • Works closely with patients to establish a treatment plan.

    • Respond to phone calls/emails.

    • Take payments and co-pays at the time service is rendered.

    • Check insurance eligibility and benefits of potential patients.

    • Create a comfortable and professional environment. Maintain acupuncture needles and other tools ensuring all safety, infection, quality and environmental procedures and rules are in place and used.

    • Obtain and maintain required certification and proper licensing related to acupuncture. Ensure both federal and state legal requirements are satisfied

    • Provide courteous, prompt and sincere attention to all patients.  Respond to and communicate all client concerns and feedback in a timely manner to your supervisor.

    • Follow and enforce appointment schedule and cancellation policy.



    • Master’s degree or post-baccalaureate certificate from a school accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM)

    • Current certification by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in acupuncture or NCCAOM certification in Oriental medicine

    • Current MN Acupuncturist License

    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions

    • Authorized to work in the United States


    • Over 3 years of related clinical experiences

    • Familiar with operating medical equipment such as electro-acupuncture devices

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, accountability and organizational skills

    • Bilingual (Chinese and English)

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, bend and stretch for extended periods of time.

    • Manual dexterity to use instruments and perform examinations related to the practice.



    • Full-time or part-time may include Saturdays.
